RIB Charter

High-profile events off the coast of Scheveningen include The Volvo Ocean Race. In 2015 Scheveningen was the  Pitstop and in 2018 the Finish in this world known race around the world. (A mega spectacle that attracted more than 150,000 visitors and hundreds of spectator boats). From the rib boats of Rib School Scheveningen, everyone got acquainted with the best sailors in the world.

The Hague / Scheveningen presents itself as the sport city of the coast and sea-sailing port of the Netherlands. Rib School Scheveningen was happy to contribute to this with her VIP boats. Some other popular races are; The North Sea Regatta, the World Championships Nacra, The Hague Offshore sailing cup, the Dutch kitesurfing cup, etc.

We are RYA (Royal Yachting Association) certified. We are also a CRKBO (Central Register for Short Professional Education) institution.
With this we want to indicate that we know what we are doing on the North Sea. We like to keep our reputation high. We also have our own RIB’s which are never rented out.
Every year an inspector from the UK inspects our boats and teaching materials.

Our Rib boats, crew and passengers are all covered by the P & I insurance.

For very different projects we are asked as Media boat, or Camera / Press boat.
A RIB is easy to maneuver, fast, safe and stable. Perfect for shooting and filming the best pictures.

Scheveningen is known for the many International sailing events, in which hundreds of boats participate in the various regattas. Safety plays a major role in all these events and the ribs from Rib School Scheveningen are used as Rescue Boat. Certified rib boat skippers/ former lifeguards with first aid, who also understand sailing by own experience.

With our experience at the Rescue brigade The Hague, among others, we have often had to deal with first aid accidents on the water.
Furthermore, our own interest in sailing has an added value, so that we can see from our own experience when it goes ‘wrong’ on a sailing boat and on which side you can best approach the boat / MOB.

You want to collect crew? Your tour operator wants to come on board? Do you need a welder? But you have no transport …
No problem. We can transport people to ships. We operate from Scheveningen. Maximum number of passengers is 12 people.

We can transport spare parts, a turbo blower, valves, flanges, etc with our rib boats to ships. We can deliver up to 2 Euro pallets with a total capacity of 1500 kilos. Larger RIB’s are used for larger quantities. With these boats more can be transported, but with a lower speed. All our ships operate from Scheveningen.

You want to bring material to the wind farm, but a large vessel is too expensive?
We can transport small equipment and personnel to the windmill park at a favorable price
